Check your water first

Do this before you fill anything in. Look up your ZIP code and see what is actually measured in your water. If your hardness is low and nothing is showing up in your utility’s monitoring, the honest answer is that you do not need a system, and no quote is going to tell you that: the person quoting sells systems.

A request made after you have read your own numbers is also a better request. You will know what to ask, and you will know when an answer sounds wrong.

Who receives your details

Your request goes to SAP Thumbprint Holdings LLC, which operates WaterCompared, and from there to licensed water treatment and plumbing installers in your area, and home-services referral partners who maintain networks of such installers. No such partner is signed today, so nothing is being passed to anyone at present, and your request stays with us until that changes. See the note at the top of this page.

Once a request is passed on, you may be contacted by phone, text and email, including by automated dialling and prerecorded messages. That is what the consent box says and it is what it means. Consent is not a condition of any purchase, and you can tell any caller to stop at any time.

How this changes what we earn, and what it does not change

We are paid two ways. Some links to products are tagged, and we earn a commission if you buy through one, and every page carrying one says so. Our disclosure lists them. A request on this page may earn us a referral fee from whoever receives it.
